Liv Morgan lauds Roxanne Perez's WWE talent
WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan praised Roxanne Perez's abilities in a Fox News Digital interview. "I think Roxanne is so incredibly talented," Morgan said. "She’s so young and is so aware in the ring. She really knows what she’s doing."
Perez earned her main roster call-up nearly a year ago by qualifying for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match with a victory over Becky Lynch and Natalya. Weeks later, she joined the Judgment Day faction and replaced the injured Morgan as one-half of the women’s tag team champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez. The pair held the titles for more than a month before dropping them on Night 1 of SummerSlam to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
Morgan described taking Perez under the Judgment Day's wing to position her as the next generation's star. "She’s definitely under my tutelage. I’m teaching her a lot. I’m teaching her everything that I know," Morgan said. "The future of WWE is more than safe in my little Roxy’s hands." Perez, 24, recently rejoined the group after recovering from back surgery and stood in Morgan’s corner when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42. Perez previously captured two NXT women’s championships and one NXT women’s tag team championship.
Perez has drawn Morgan's endorsement since aligning with Monday Night Raw's Judgment Day.
